Day 0: And so, tomorrow, the journey south begins with Mt Katahdin. Extremely grateful for this opportunity and for the overwhelming gentle nudges of support and encouragement from friends and family. I’ll be posting updates when cell service is available on Instagram @kellogs204!

And if anybody wants to join me somewhere along the journey for a few days, you would be most welcome! … And remember – always wear a hat! It may be burny weather!!

Night 41 and Morning 42 – After summiting Mount Washington at 5:30pm on night 41, we hiked down 1.4 miles to Lakes of the Clouds Hut (which is closed) but has an emergency shelter called “The Dungeon”… 11 of us slept in a room about 20×20 feet.
